Rice Straw
Branding + Packaging Design
A freelance project for a friend made during my explorative journey using The Beach House Project Sri Lanka in 2019, this design exercise is exciting considering the nature of the product. Straws made from RICE, not only help the environment (No Plastic anymore. Phew!) butt also helped local farmers.
The brand is named SMAART RICE STRAW. Primary aim of a B2B product which would be imported, this brand aims to be the smart choice people make for themselves and the environment.
The packaging for the pack needed to be direct, simple and yet attractive to build credibility for a pioneer product like this one in India. Hence the following options were explored out of which the third option was chosen.
